SETTLE ON A CLOSER * QUICKIE * * WHIR *

Postby Seanyfever » Sun Mar 18, 2012 12:05 pm

Just finished our draft yesterday, and I have been looking over my pitching. My bats are huge, as I have built through ten years in a keeper. I got on nasty end of two closer runs during redarft. I have had trade talks, and other manager wants Bedard for Madson. I know I won't get big innings out of Bedard, but thinking I will get some potential good to great innings (130-160), and even trade him later with higher value. He wants my BEDARD for his MADSON. I only have one extra bat on my bench having gone into grabbing much of pitching. Again, I am confident in my bats felt no need to scramble for extras. Hoping at some point, others come to me with pitchign needs.

With closer, I am thinking. It's early. Wait and see. I tried Peavy, and he does not want him.

Why hesitate? Send Bedard out for Madson. I don't think his production is going to be missed much with the starters you already have. I bet you could get a better starter if you opted to send Madson back out at some point.

Bedard is a complete wild card. If he can stay healthy for 150 IP there is no way to know if he can still be effective. Madson for him is a complete steal. Even if you didn't need a closer I would take that deal to flip Madson for a better SP than Bedard.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Take the deal for Madson.

ABSOLUTELY! Take the deal. Bedard could flop. Madson will get you saves.
