Who should I keep

Postby flappos » Sun Mar 18, 2012 11:32 am

I am in a 12 team league that is points based and a weekly head to head. Our lineup is 2C,1B,2B,3B,SS,MI,CI,5OF,utility,5SP,3RP, & 3 BENCH. For hitters we get 1 point per base, 2 points per steal, 1point per run or RBI and -1 point per caught stealing and Ks. For pitchers we get 10 points per W, -5 points per L, .5 points per inning, 1 point per K, -1 point per earned run, 4 points per save, -3 points per Blown Save, 10 points per Shut out, 5 points per Complete Game, 20 Points per No hitter, 3 points per quality start and 2 points per Hold. I have to keep 5 players without losing any picks your keepers are your first 5 picks. I can keep 4 from this group:

Carl Crawford, Evan Longoria, Andrew McCutchen, Matt Holliday, Starling Castro, Pablo Sandoval, Matt Cain, Craig Kimbrell, Yovani Gallardo Gio Gonzalez, Bryce Harper and Eric Hosmer

and 1 from this group:

Eric Hosmer, Goi Gonzalez and Bryce Harper.

Looking for input on who to keep. Thanks for any information.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking of keeping Longoria, McCutchen, Castro, Hosmer and then my debate is Gallardo or Holliday. I think I need to keep Castro because of how week SS is. Not sure if I need to keep a pitcher of go with Holliday.

Points league SPs are gold. Their value is much higher.

I don't trust Pablo enough to take him over a pitcher like Gallardo.
