Which prospects would you pick?

I got the first pick in my leagues minor league draft, I am debating between a few which are:

SP Trevor Bauer ARI
SP Gerrit Cole PIT
SS Jurickson Profar TEX
SP Tyler Skaggs ARI
SP Danny Hultzen SEA
3B Anthony Rendon WAS

my minor league roster already consists of:
SP Matt Moore TB
1B/OF Jonathan Singleton HOU
SS Miguel Sano MIN

I also have the top pick in the second round as we are only allowed 5 minor leaguers, which I know none of those will be available so I was thinking either
OF Bubba Starling KC (if available)
SP Matt Harvey NYM
SS Francisco Lindor CLE (if I didn't take Profar with 1st pick)
SP James Paxton SEA
1B CJ Cron ANA
1B Matt Adams STL

What your take on my options?

I'd go Rendon 1st

and Lindor 2nd.


Almost always go hitting over pitching

Take Rendon all the way. He will be a stud at an increasingly scarce position.

Bauer and then Lindor

Too often people worry about trying to have good balance in their minors. forget about that. Take the players that you think will be the best. If they work then you can trade them for a bounty. It's hard to use/trade a busted prospect that you picked for a perceived positional need.

I'd take Bauer first. Profar is a great prospect but also 2 years away. Bauer should be a stud when he comes up in June. I wouldn't consider the rest. On the way back, Starling or Lindor would be fantastic.
