Best position or best player in keeper league draft?

Postby Knighthammer » Sat Mar 17, 2012 8:45 pm

Draft tomorrow. I have Reyes, ARod, Sabathia & Haren as my keepers. As far as draft strategy, in the first few rounds should I draft best player or look at filling in positions? In a 4 player keeper league I'm leaning towards filling positions. That said, if you agree with that strategy, I was thinking 1B, OF, OF, 2B, OF. What is your opinion? Thanks for looking! ;-D

Take the best hitter available for the first 4-5 rounds, maybe more.

Worry about filling positions later.

So, with 4 keepers, use rounds 5 thru 10 or so to take best hitters. Got it!

;-D ;-D I really stop doing the best player available when there aren't very many players I like at a certain position.
