If I have two different rankings, and want to compare the rankings on a singular sheet how do I do that?

For example:

Sheet A has these players ranked 1-7
Miguel Cabrera
Matt Kemp
Albert Pujols
Ryan Braun
Troy Tulowitzki
Jose Bautista
Joey Votto

Sheet B has these players ranked 1-7
Miguel Cabrera
Albert Pujols
Matt Kemp
Ryan Braun
Troy Tulowitzki
Jose Bautista
Robinson Cano

How do I incorporate the list from B onto A (similar to this)?
Column A, Column B, Column C
Kemp, 2, 3

I've been trying all morning and can't figure it out. Thanks for any help!

put numbers 1-7 in the cell next to each list. sort each two column list (name, number) by name so that the names in each list line up. you'll be left with something like "Kemp|2|Kemp|3", then just delete column with the second list of names.

Just make sure each list has the exact same players or this will give you headache.
