I am very confused but have been picking things up thanks to this forum. Thank you so much in advance for any input or thoughts you may have on this trade!
I see no reason to go for this. You would get a small upgrades at 2b and ss, but Dan Haren is a surefire stud and a great #2. Gio Gonzalez doesnt even touch Haren. 't a 10 team league there will always be a breakout RP that will be easy to pickup off the Waiver wire, so although Storen is strong, he doesn't make or break this trade. I'd stay put, your starting rotation looks very solid and that's something you want to keep. Just wondering, I know its a 10 team league, but how did you get Kershaw and Braun? Those are pretty strong 1st/2nd round drafts.
I definitely like Peds over Kinsler and Starlin over Alexei....but the downgrade from Haren to Gio is just too much, and you don't need Storen. Just watch the various closing situations around the league and you can grab strong RP's off the WW. For instance, I snagged Walden off the WW in my league in the very early going last season.
If you can restructure the deal into something like a 3-for-3 deal with Peds/Starlin/Gio for Kinsler/Alexei/Latos...I'd do that. Otherwise, just stay put.
PS - In a 10-team league, Morneau is not worthy of a roster spot.
I would do it. Pedroia is safer then Kinsler. Castro is a boost over Alexei. Storen becomes your best closer, and i like over Swisher. The only spot you lose is Haren/Gio, and you still would have 4 SP studs, and SP is the easiest to find imo.

You take a big hit in the Haren to Gio dropoff but Kinsler is always an injury risk and Castro is a sizeable upgrade over Alexi. Those 2 upgrades combined with the Storen addition, I think you should take it.
I can see both sides to this deal but I think it would be a net gain

This. I actually like this trade for you. Castro should be a very nice upgrade over Alexei and I would prefer Pedroia to Kinsler. Also in a 10 team league Swisher doesn't have much value. I would probably be playing LoMo over him anyway, and Storen is a stud closer.
Yes you loose on the Haren/Gio angle but you have to give this guy something, and I think you pitching is extremely strong anyway.
I would definitely do the trade, but I suspect that this, like a lot of Kinsler trades, hinges on how healthy you think he'll be. Me? I'd take Pedroia over him any day. You'll be giving up some in your ERA and WHIP in going from Haren to Gonzalez, but Gio's got a great K rate and could win as many games as Haren. Swisher is a replacement-level player in a 10-teamer. Storen's a GREAT add for you.
I'd do it. Like others have said the only downside is going from Haren to Gio. In H2H I'll take the offensive upgrades and young closer over the SP downgrade.
