I would say you do need some power, and Bautista would be great to have, but you're giving up too much. This is mainly in part because I don't really think Kipnis and Lewis are going to help out your team much, while the other guy gets four really solid players. JJ may still have injury concerns, but if he holds up I think he and Cain could be a wash. Therefore, it's Bautista for a #1 ace, a #2/3 OF, and a power/speed guy in Zobrist. No, I don't think Kipnis and Lewis are going to make this deal worthwhile for you.
Unless he upgrades one of those last two options severely, I wouldn't accept the offer on the table.
Bautista > Felix Cain = Johnson Kipnis < Pence Lewis < Zobrist
From a strictly value perspective it's pretty close, but from a team perspective I don't think you can compete with that post trade rotation. I would counter offer asking for a better pitcher than Lewis. Maybe see if he'll do Johnson + Aram for Bautista?
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!
Thanks all. I had the same thoughts but needed to get some more feedback. I'm probably going to see if he'd do a straight-up trade of Felix for either Bautista or Tulo because he is really weak in SPs.

That would be an insane trade on his part if he even thought of doing thought. Bautista or Tulo should be able to fetch a MUCH better pitcher IMO. Tulo is one of the best long term prospects in the league. Maybe go hernandez and zobrist and see if it doesn't get vetoed.

Much better pitcher? Imo, Felix is the 2nd best keeper SP. How much better can you get at SP?

Most leagues can only keep players for 3-4 years, and in that timeline I think there are a lot of better choices than Felix. It's just my opinion of course. I'd take Verlander, Kershaw, or basically the Phillies entire rotation. But, I probably overstated my feelings against Felix. Even though he has been consistent for the last 3 years, I just don't think he will replicate. But by all means OP should listen to smarter people haha.
