I think there is a pretty big risk in having Konerko and Cruz. If they both struggle, you will probably get creamed in AVG, and OBP, plus it won't help in steals and runs. But if they are both on, you should do very well in HR and RBI and won't be in hurt in AVG. So bigger risk bigger reward?

Given the offensive keepers of Konerko, Bourne, Victorino and Goldschmidt I would go with the higher upside guy which I think is Cruz. It might blowup in his face but I think he is going to need to hit on a few upside guys to compete on offense.
