That was my point. I don't like to fill my util role unless I have to. You make this trade because A) Ellsbury is at least equal to AGon and B) you open up your util role for the draft.

There were a few years where I had Pujols and Votto and while it was great to have Votto, I always felt limited in the draft when another bat that I didn't need fell in the draft because I didn't have a spot to play him. I might still draft him and then try and make a trade but it was always frustrating especially when I then ended up with Hosmer. All great things but still frustrating.
