Trade Agon For Ellsbury? WHIR

10 team league h2h 5x5 Keep 3 MY Agon his Ellsbury....... It's scary because you know what you'll get with agon but with my lineup i need to get rid of a 1b for a little more flexibilty. Should I make this trade?

Can't you just play AGon in your util spot? I wouldn't do it unless you're being forced to sit Agon.

I prefer ellsbury over agonz as it is. with votto already holding down 1B i'd definitely make the trade.

i agree. I like Ellsbury slightly better and I hate when I have already filled my Util spot predraft.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with having a Util spot filled with a 1st round bat. I'd do that all the time, every time.


But I like Ellsbury a little more than Adrian anyway, so I'd definitely do this trade.

I think it makes sense for your team to give you some flexibility especially with Crawford's situation right now.

I'm not a huge Jacoby fan... i'd prob shop A-Gon and see what else u could get for him, maybe something to upgrade u at SS or 3b. I think trading for Jacoby, ud be paying FULL price for a career year, and I don't like that. I'd have no problem parking Gonzalez in my U spot all year myself. P.S. Cespedes could find his way into ur OF sooner rather than later. Take a look at mine please?

he's paying full price for a regressed version of ellsbury. full price for ellsbury from last year would be top 3 talent.

Yes, but ud have a hard time finding somebody who doesn't believe that Ellsbury will regress. Last season WAS his career year imo, but I guess we'll see. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a great player, I just take A-Gon all day over him, u know exactly what ur getting with him... this season could even bring more power than we saw in year 1 in Boston.
