How to draft for H2H

Postby jefferey13 » Wed Mar 14, 2012 12:06 pm

When drafting in a standard h2h 5x5, do you draft to average out all 10 categories? Do you draft so you can try and win X amount of categories? So my main question is, If you don't draft for all 10, how many categories do you try to win?

Well, ideally you try to win 6 because that would mean you would average a 6-4 victory every week in H2H. Unfortunately, players don't always perform like they should so 5-5 or worse matchups could occur. Therefore, I'd aim for 7 and hope for a guarantee of 5 each week.

The other response could be try to win them all, and even though that's unrealistic it sits well with the 'draft the best player available' bit.
