I had the 10th pick in the draft....And I swear on my life I had no intention of drafting so many yanks...but I got them late in most cases...so could not resist.

Here are the moves I have made so far...
I got a legit closer trading Yadier Molina and Tyler Clippard for John Axford and Russell Martin. I also Dropped Daniel Murphy for Alfonso Soriano.
Roster: C- Mike Napoli 1B - Prince Fielder 2B - Rickie Weeks SS - Derek Jeter 3B - Arod OF - Brett Gardner OF - Melky Cabrera OF - Peter Bourjols UT - Yoenis Cespedes BN - Carl Crawford BN - Russell Martin BN - Bryce Harper BN - Kelly Johnson BN - Alsfonso Soriano
SP - Clayton Kershaw SP - Cole Hamels RP - Brandon League RP - John Axford P - James Shields P - Chris Carpenter P - Ivan Nova P - Phil Hughes
Brett Myers is a FA...who do I drop to pick him up?
I might also consider dropping Soriano after you just picked him up, though your team could use some more power even if it's declining power. I agree that dropping Russell Martin is probably the best way to go since his numbers aren't likely to ever find their way into your lineup without an injury.
OF and SP? I thought I was stacked at SP....OK....
OF: Angel Pagan Vernon Wells Viciedo Dayan Cain Lorenzo Nolan Reimlod Jason Bay Mike Carp
SP: Ryan Dempster Edinson Volquez Mark Buehrle Jon Niese Ricky Nolasco Carlos Zambrano Gavin Floyd RA Dickey Jonathan Sanchez Josh Collmenter Matt Harrison
Other available: Yunel Escobar Chipper Jones Chase Headley Daniel Murphey Mike Aviles James Loney

Yeah...you could be right....BUT...I have followed Hughes his whole career...and the news lately is he looks to be back in 2010 form. The word from camp is the #5 starter spot is rigged in his favor....and if his return to for holds true...he will not only be a starter...he will not be a #5 for long.
Adding Myers will help your depth as you will start 3 solid closers and give oyu one SP off the bench. I think I'd rather have Yunel to Jeter. None of the FA SP are really worth gambling on right now unless you do some 2 for 1 deals and free up a spot. For OF I like Lorenzo Cain to give you some cheap speed.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
Based on past...my scoring favors Pagan over many of the FA...and the scoring system and projections seem pretty high on this kid JD MArtinez in Houston.
Should I drop Soriano for Pagan?
And maybe drop Bryce Harper who is looking less and less like he will make the Big league roster....for JD MArtinez...who is already slotted into a starting spot in the OF...and expected to be an immediate impact bat?
