Has anyone done a Yahoo draft yet with keepers inserted into various rounds using the custom draft tool?
Im wondering how the software works.
(1) does the software slot in all the keepers into the appropriate rounds prior to to the start of the draft before anyone makes any manual selection?
Or
(2) does the draft go off in order as normal, with each keeper getting auto-drafted if a particular team has a keeper set for that particular round?
im hoping its (1) because that would allow everyone to see what roster positions each team has already filled at the start of the draft.
if the answer is (2) then that raises another, perhaps more important questions:
if an owner must make auto-picks for a round or two, does the system take into account the positions of all keepers for that team, even ones from later rounds that have not been "drafted" onto the team yet?
for example:
its Team A's turn to draft in the 12th rd.
He has most of his starting hitting positions filled, but no SP pitchers yet.
He has to get another beer, and isnt at the computer to make his pick.
He has 4 SP pitchers being kept at the end of the draft in round 20-23, but the next several highest ranked players are also all SP... does the computer still auto-draft a SP, or is it smart enough to skip that position and draft another position?

I'm almost positive all kept players are effectively drafted before the draft starts, so they show on your rosters and are taken into account by the autopick algorithm.
