I know I already have 2 pitchers with Tommy John history, but I'm starting to like these guys with new arms. Would it be worth targeting Wainwright at $8? I would have to give up one or two of my starters, but I have other trade bait with two weeks to go before Keeper Day. How many innings do you think Wainwright will get? Will he be back to form? I think Wainwright'll be fine. At least 180 innings, and probably finishing in the Top 20. You've got 10 major-league keepers costing you $79. That leaves $201 to spend on 15 players!
Honestly, I like an $8 Wainwright better than any of your pitching options right now. I think Scherzer's your weakest pitcher, but I honestly think that Zimmerman's giving you the least value for his cost- you could probably re-acquire him for around that price at auction.
I prefer AW over both Max and Jimenez. Jimenez is going to face the Tigers a few times along with the much improved Royals. I also expect the W/Sox to much better this year. plus he'll be facing tougher AL teams and oh yes. Phat Albert.

And at $8, you are getting a bargain. Don't expect more than 180 innings but the Cardinals are really good at bringing their guys back from this and I would expect him to be just fine going forward.
