I keep both and drop McCarthy.
If not, Motte since you need 2 closers.

I would drop Wandy before McCarthy. If not, then I keep Motte. Closers can be found but in 14 team leagues they aren't as easy to find plus you have to be first to grab him. An Alexei can be found on the WW though.

No way are you finding a top 10 SS on the WW in a 14 team league.

Dump Wandy or McCarthy keep both Alexei and Motte. Its easy to get a back end starter even in a deeper league. Buehrle, Josh Collmenter, JD Masterson etc types can be had.

I realized later i meant to say you can find Alexei numbers on the WW. No not the actual SS but you can replace him fairly easily. A guy like Marco Scutaro will give you similar numbers at a cheaper price.

Sounds pretty mixed...I can tell you that this is a league that knows what it's doing and there is no way I could not keep 5 SPs and feel good about it. I could go the streaming route, but we have IP minimum's etc and I would rather play it safe with a Wandy, etc rather than risk having to fight the WW fight just to get quality innings.

Every league is different and you know your's better than any of us. I know that in my 14 team league it is much easier to find a back-end SP than it is to find a closer or quality SS.

Agreed, Motte is the choice. People say closers can be found and never keep a closer, etc, but it's a 14 team league. Closers are very scarce, and since you have Street who has a history of injuries, it would be good to get some insurance for saves. Ramirez is a tosser and you are probably better served in getting an upside guy (A.Escobar, Pastornicky ... or Gordon if he is still available) than rely on Ramirez's boring stats.
