I have no problem about doing a boom-or-bust strategy, though you might have some trouble cobbling together some steals. Since you have four outfielders, you may want to consider sending off Holliday or Beltran to see if you can get some speed involved. I think Wright is priced a little high given what he hasn't done in the past couple of years. He just got a cortisone shot, so he's not necessarily a guarantee at $38. You may want to swap him out for someone cheaper and less worrisome.
I don't know, man...I don't want to say you did the wrong thing, but I don't think I can say you did the right thing either.
You took on a TON of money, and I'm not so sure it was great money. Garza at 20? What's he going to outproduce Luebke in? The only real thing I could say is K's, I guess. But ERA and WHIP will be Luebke's, no doubt. Luebke for one dollar was a very nice deal, as he is going to turn a lot of heads this season I think.
You did get good players, I'm just not so sure of the value in relation to Luebke's. Sorry. Best of luck.
