Thanks for the advice guys, especially talking me out of Aramis. He would defintely make my team better, but just in the wrong years. You're probably right about trading Konerko too, although it's not always easy to pull off trades in this league.

Let me ask this...do you think it's worth me giving up picks to try to get to #2 overall, and ensure that I can get Darvish and CJ? It would probably cost me my #4 and #5 overall picks, but I feel like the drop off after those two is pretty signifcant.

I don't think Beachy is a drop at all.

I have to say I wholeheartedly disagree with CJ being head and shoulders above the rest. I'd take Darvish over CJ Wilson 10 times out of 10.

Now you would, but back before the 2012 season when this was originally posted, it may not have been so easy ;-)
