10 team, up to 13 keeper league, H2H in categories. Cats are power and strikeout skewed. R, HR, RBI, K, SB, OBP, SLG, for hitters, QS, SV/HD, BAA, ERA, WHIP, K/9, K/BB for the pitchers. Positions are C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3x OF, DH, 5x SP, and 4x RP.
My 9 keepers were:
Alex Avila - C Jesus Montero - C/DH Paul Konerko - 1B Cano - 2B Bryce Harper - OF Mike Trout - OF
So, between the snake draft and only one other guy keeping 9, I wind up with picks #1, #4, and #5 overall. I need to focus on SP, 3B, and OF. I am rebuilding and probably won't be too competitive this year, so SS and RP are big after-thoughts for me at this point.
The guy picking at #2 and #3 kept no 2B or C but did keep A-Rod at third base, so I'm hoping he focuses on his open spots with his first picks.
The top guys available that I want are below, and I just need help figuring out which to pick first, and which to hope fall to me.
Yu Darvish CJ Wilson Aramis Ramirez Yoenis Cepedes Michael Bourne Brandon Beachy
CJ is head and shoulders the best of the bunch there. Darvish entices but I trust CJ more. If you truly want one of each, I would take Bourn first, then CJ, then A-Ram. If CJ gets taken you can easily go with Darvish or Beachy if Darvish is gone. A-Ram should last, he isn't getting much hype this season.

If you are serious about rebuilding, then be serious about it.
Grab CJ, and as soon as the draft is over, trade him to a contending team. I'd look to flip Konerko too.
I like Beachy with one of your next picks....and if you think you can deal Aramis, go for that. Otherwise, grab whichever guy you like best between Darvish/Cespedes.

This. If you're in a rebuilding mode, then make your focus to rebuild... not 1/2 contend, 1/2 rebuild. I would only grab Aramis IF you can flip him. Otherwise he's not worth the space on your team.
