Holliday, hosmer, phillips, or wright

Postby SlayeratCP » Sat Mar 10, 2012 12:58 pm

Next pick in draft. I already have two outfielders and a solid starting rotation. It is a points league with long term keepers. There are a few other options as well but these are the most intriguing names

Keeper, I'd take Hosmer 100%

When you say starting rotation, I guess you mean all IF positions? If so, Hosmer. If not, go with need (Wright or Phillips depending on which spot is open.

I guess Hosmer since you already have two OF, but I do like Holliday a lot.

I would have to go Hosmer for the long term value in what is a close decision.

It's close, what are you scoring categories, that will help.

Sorry, by rotation I meant pitchers. I have all infield slots open. Scoring categories are standard for points league. Point for run hit, 2 for double, etc.

long term keeper, with standard scoring in a points league, I guess I will have to go with Hosmer, although I do like Wright a little bit as well.

In that case I'd rather have Wright and maybe Phillips before Hosmer. If you pass on these two, who's next available at those positions? My guess is you have depth at 1B, but you need a strategy to fill at least 2 IFs in the next three rounds.
