Wainright/Darvish

Two separate questions....14 team league...standard 5x5....keep 8

my team: Longoria, Tex, Santana, Ellsbury, Gallardo, Lincecum, Harper (had first overall pick last year; had to take him)

My last keeper is Stubbs...not crazy about this guy...I have an extra 5th round pick. Should I trade that pick for Wainright, who looks
like he might be left off the owner's keeper list?

Also, I have 2nd pick overall this season...do I go ahead and gamble on Darvish? There will be 112 players kept so the top guys to draft might
be guys like Konerko, A.Cabrera, Bourn, etc.

With the looks of your team I would leave Stubbs off and go for Wainwright. ALso since you already have some stud bats and speed I would gamble on Darvish.

yes and no. the guys available at your pick look too good to take darvish over them.

I'd take Asdrubal Cabrera with the pick and take Wano. Though I like bourn also you can get cheap speed later and A-Cab will provide osme pop and speed from a thin position.

So the guy decided to keep Wainright afterall...I've got an email to the guy with Asdubral Cabrera to see if I can pick him up for a draft pick
(I assume everyone would agree Cabrera is a better option than Stubbs)

I'm torn on Darvish with pick #2 in the draft...it's him or Cuddyer...I love Cuddyer with 2B eligibility @ Coors field

I agree. I like Darvish too, but this is probably a tad early. If you have a spot for Konerko that would be a steal.

Not knowing who may be available for you to draft with 2nd rounder, I just can't say for sure, but I do like Yu alot this year
