hey guys i messaged earlier about my keepers and now im just following up on that .. I recently got the opportunity to acquire Cole Hamels for a cheap price so my list of keepers out of which i have to choose 5 from is:
Pujols Beltre Uggla Zobrist Lester Beckett Wilson Kennedy Hamels
Out of this list, which 5 would you choose?
I was thinking Pujols, Beltre, Uggla, Zobrist, and 1 pitcher out of the list.
Is that a good list because i was thinking i lock up my infield, and i heard its better to keep more batting? And I also dont have many early draft picks... i only have 3 picks in the first 5 rounds. (1 in the first round, and 2 in the third round).
Also, which pitcher would you consider a keeper out of that list?

I'm higher on Wilson and lower on Uggla than most, so others may not agree.
A quick question for those who are still looking at this thread... What do you guys think of Wainwright? After coming off of surgery, what are your expectations? Where abouts will he be drafted?

i'd rank him in the 15-20 SP range, obviously there's a bit of risk involved. he's being drafted around 100th overall, so the 8th round or so. i think he's worth the risk there.

Yahoo has him at around 100 going right behind Tommy Hanson and ahead of Mat Latos and Josh Johnson. Seems about right if he looks healthy throughout spring training.
If I already had an ace I might consider taking him in the 8-9th round.
