Postby Scriven87 » Thu Mar 08, 2012 6:58 pm

I'm in a 12 team H2H keeper league. We keep 10 players each season.

I got offered Adam Wainwright for Desmond Jennings.

Here's my team:

2B: Rickie Weeks
3B: Panlo Sandoval
SS: Jimmy Rollins
OF: Justin Upton
OF: Desmond Jennings
OF: Andre Ethier
Util: Ike Davis
Util: Chris Young
BN: Jemile Weeks
BN: Carlos Quentin
BN: Stephen Drew

SP: Mat Latos
SP: Ubaldo Jimenez
RP: Craig Kimbrel
RP: Sergio Santos
P: Hiroki Kuroda
P: Justin Masterson
P: Brandon McCarthy
BN: Gavin Floyd
BN: Ryan Vogelsong

How many do you keep every season? My concern, with this being H2H, is that Wainwright is going to tire for your playoffs. I may be more inclined to just keep Jennings.

Think you could do better than Quentin/Vogelsong
I would keep Jennings you have little OF depth to work with.

They both come high risk and high upside. I think I'd go with Jennings though.

I think I go with the upside of Jennings over the upside of Wainwright.

I would take Wainwright. He has already proved that he can be a top 5 SP and a yearly Cy Young candidate. Jennings hasn't proved anything and I think he will struggle this year. It is a great time to buy on Wainwright who will be on an innings limit but should be productive when he pitches.

I would take Wainwright here. More proven and you know what you are gonna get unlike Jennings.

I would stick with Jennings. I think he profiles as a better keeper long term. That and I don't know if your team can afford the hit to OF.

Looks like a mixed bag. I don't envy your position!
