Draft Question

am in a 10 team AL only H2H keeper league and I have the 2nd pick this year and was wondering if I could get some opinions on my first pick. I am sorry if its a stupid question, but this is only my 2nd year playing fantasy baseball. If you could give me a first choice and a second choice that would be great.

We use a standard point system. We can keep 1 player from our top 8 picks & 3 from the bottom 8 picks.

Top Keeper: J. Bautista
Bottom Keepers: M. Weiters, M. Moustakas & B. Lowrie

The main guys I have been looking at are M. Cabrera, A. Pujols, J. Ellsbury or J. Verlander. Just a little info on our league draft it always seems to be pitcher heavy and thats why I thought of Verlander. I am a little afraid I am going to get stuck with some bad pitchers by the time it gets back to me.

In your situation, I would go with Verlander. I'm biased, with being a Tiger fan, but with that lineup, I can see him getting 20 wins, and he's a sure lock for 200+ Ks every season. I like Bautista and Lawrie for you, also.
