Draft Question

I am in a 10 team AL only H2H keeper league and I have the 2nd pick this year and was wondering if I could get some opinions on my first pick. I am sorry if its a stupid question, but this is only my 2nd year playing fantasy baseball. If you could give me a first choice and a second choice that would be great.

We use a standard point system. We can keep 1 player from our top 8 picks & 3 from the bottom 8 picks.

Top Keeper: J. Bautista
Bottom Keepers: M. Weiters, M. Moustakas & B. Lowrie

The main guys I have been looking at are M. Cabrera, A. Pujols, J. Ellsbury or J. Verlander. Just a little info on our league draft it always seems to be pitcher heavy and thats why I thought of Verlander. I am a little afraid I am going to get stuck with some bad pitchers by the time it gets back to me.

Pitching is terribly deep this year. You can put together a good staff late in the draft actually. You have to pick Miggy or Pujols...whoever falls to you.

Agreed - actually an easy pick here. If one of MCab/Albert get taken, take the other. If someone else goes #1, take whichever you prefer, they're both beasts at 1b
