Hey guys my deadline for keepers is coming in my 12 team 6x6 league. We have to keep 5 players which will be our first 5 round players. Therefore ROUND 6 will be our first pick essentially.
Here are the list of players i have to choose 5 keeper from:
Albert Pujols Adrian Beltre Ben Zobrist Andrew McCutchen Elvis Andrus Dan Uggla Jon Lester Josh Beckett CJ Wilson Ian Kennedy
Im thinking of keeping: Pujols (have to keep the best player), Beltre (fills my 3B and had a great season last year), Zobrist (Multi position player and had a good year with a decent OPS and potential for a higher OPS this season), Uggla (I can fill him in to my 2B slot and i keep his 30+ hr power. I think he will bounce back tremendously this year), Lester/Beckett/Wilson/Kennedy (thinking of keeping one of these 4 SPs because i dont have a draft pick in the first two round and i think its important i have atleast one ace)
What do you guys think?? Who would you keep on this list?
Pujols/Beltre/AM are locks. Andrus and Lester, although i could see Zobrist over Andrus. I'm not a Uggla fan. He had his worst year ever with OPS and wOBA. He is declining.

OH i completely forgot to add ... Im thinking of trading McCutchen and some of my later round picks for a first round pick (round 6) and some mid round picks. I feel its necessary I have a first round pick and trading mccutchen for a first round pick is reasonable? What do you guys think about this aswell? Sorry forgot to mention this earlier

I'd keep Cutch and try to do the same type of deal with Uggla.

I wouldn't. He has the highest ceiling of any guys listed. Plus your keepers aren't that young with Pujols/Beltre already.

Definitely do not trade McCutch for a first round pick. The guy's ceiling is so high, there is no way you could find equal value in the 1st round of your draft.
