10 team keeper league

Hi everyone-

I've got a conundrum. My leauge gets four keepers. See below for my roster from last year.
C _ Pierzynski
1b - Ryan Howard
2b - R Cano
3b - Pablo Sandoval and Adrian Beltre
SS - JJ Hardy
OF - Melky Cabrera
OF - Shane Victorino
OF - BJ Upton
UTIL - Micheal Bourn
UTIL - Jeter
Bench: Daniel Murphy, Mark Reynolds

P- U Jimenez
P- Colby Lewis
SP - Roy Oswalt
SP - Tim Lincecum
SP -James Shields
RP - Papelbon and Brian Wilson
Bench: Erik Bedard, Bartolo Colon


Cano and Lincecum are no brainers. But then, Shields, Jimenez, Victorinio, Beltre, Sandoval are all possibilities. And Ryan Howard is a HUGE question mark- that said, can I afford to let him go? Alternatively, of the "maybes", any advice for how to package two (or even three) of them to trade up?

sucks to have to keep two 3B, but those four are all pretty clearly a cut above the rest.

I would try to move Sandoval.

If i had to choose your keepers on straight talent I would go Lincecum, Cano, Sandoval and Beltre. But rather than keep 2 3B I would want to trade one of them and go into the draft with a little more positional flexibility.

Howard in my opinion is too risky to keep at this point.

Agree. The extra UT spot helps though.

With those options...Linc, Cano, Pablo, and Beltre are all no-brainers. I don't think I would touch Howard in a 10-team NL-only league.

I agree with what has been said - maybe try and move one of the 3B for something else.

Trade Beltre. Panda is a much better long term keeper and he looks like hes starting to find his power.

I'd just keep Cano, Beltre, Pablo, Lincecum and use one of your 3B at the UTI.
