Hi jdelsas, I'm sorry, but I'm a little more pessimistic on your team than speeds102 was. For one thing, a lot of the guys you picked (Johnson, Bourn, Gardner, Young, Roberts, Ibanez) are probably going to kill your AVG, and you're relying on guys like Hosmer, Hanley, and Crawford, who are no sure things for this year, to help you bounce back. To be honest, I think Hosmer and Lawrie are going to have some sophomore regression, and they might take you right along with it. Out of curiosity, how did you end up stuck with Kelly Johnson at 2B? Where were you when mid-range guys like Neil Walker and Jason Kipnis were getting drafted? A round number for each player drafted would probably help out your original post.
Next, you seem to have a low number of closers. Neither Neftali Feliz nor Francisco Cordero will be earning you saves this year, as Feliz will be moving to the Texas rotation, and Cordero signed as a setup man for Sergio Santos in Toronto. Cordero was really only valuable for his saves, as his ERA and K numbers have been declining for years now. At least Feliz could give you decent starter's numbers -- I'd predict something close to Alexi Ogando last season, both innings and numbers-wise. The only guys getting you saves on your team will be Betancourt and Guerra, the latter of whom might not keep his closer's chair. Even your rotation has a fair bit of risk in it - Hanson, Ubaldo, McCarthy, Lilly. And of course, watch out for Haren in the second half.
As I mentioned, I'd be interested to see which round numbers you chose each player; in the meantime, you might look into some trades, at the very least for more closers.
