Bautista/Nelson Cruz (or M Holliday) for A-Gon/A Beltre? WHI

Postby exm » Tue Mar 06, 2012 10:47 am

New deep 20 player H2H keepers league with lots of OF/IF slots. I have been offered his Bautista/Nelson Cruz for A-my Gon/A Beltre. Bautista would take over at 3B for Beltre, Swisher would shift to 1B and Cruz would be in the OF. He also has M Holliday on his team for a potential counter offer.

My primary concerns with Cruz and Holliday are injuries. What are your thoughts on the trade? WHIR

I really like this for you. You get the bet player in the trade and you're OF could use the help.

I take Cruz over Holliday.

Help me?

I like it. It helps your outfield out a lot. I like Hilliday more. I feel like he is a safer option than Cruz

I only like this deal if you get Holliday. If you get Cruz, then this is a no. Cruz has too much injury risk to make this a good deal for you.

You don't think Holliday is also an injury risk? How about his production with Pujols gone?

I hae Holliday at 531AB 88R 24HR 266TB 91RBI 6SB .296BA .382OBP .501SLG
Cruz 465AB 68R 28HR 240TB 81RBI 12SB .272BA .332OBP .515SLG

Cruz has neer played more than 128 games in a season. I'd ask for Holliday

Holliday has had one season where he didn't play 140 games and Cruz has never had a season where he played more than 130 games.

I'm not doing it.
AGon is the guy in his prime the most.
Holliday is declining.

I pulled the trigger with Nelson Cruz. Everyone's concerns about his health are valid, but I think Cruz has amazing potential. Spring reports are also great. Holliday on the other hand is going through another 'relapse'. Thanks for all the replies!
