Halladay for Pedroia?

Postby dubstar » Mon Mar 05, 2012 8:58 pm

10 team h2h R, HR, RBI, OBP, SB, XBH
W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, QS

Please note that this is a league with OBP and XBH and QS

I have been trying to move Halladay(round 3) for Ellsbury(round 8), but I'm not sure if that will go down or not. If it falls through, this same owner has Pedroia(round 3). Would you do that or hold onto Halladay? We keep 6.

My keepers are:
A Gon (1)
Kemp (2)
Halladay (3)
Santana (18)
Lawrie (20)
Andrus (14) or Hanson (19)

My pick in the 4th round, I would be looking at the 7-10th overall pick and would possibly be able to get :

Gallardo, Cain, Bruce, Zobrist, Lester(maybe), Choo.

C Santana (18)
1b A Gon (1)
3b Andrus (14)
SS Lawrie (20)
OF Kemp (2)
Halladay (3)

Are your keeps easily.
That's pretty solid.
If you can deal Halladay for Ellsbury in the 8th PLEASE DO IT! If not, then I would take Bruce with your pick. If you get Ellsbury I wouldn't worrya bout your OF for a few rounds and draft Zobrist with your selection.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!

Yes I would make that deal for Pedroia.

obviously the deal for ellsbury is better, but i'd still take pedroia for halladay in the same round and be pretty happy.

;-D Having QS as a pitching category certainly helps Halladay, but not as much as OBP and XBH helps Dustin.

For your draft spot, I would also go Bruce. Possibly Gallardo if the SP pool is very thin.
