I'm really hoping he's my "Jered Weaver" for this season. I remember when Weaver got called up and just dominated everyone, he carried my pitching staff to the championship. Believe he won like 10 of his first decisions?

Really looking forward to watching this guy pitch. Hopefully my hopes aren't too high.

Dude was 9 - 0 with a 1.95 ERA in his first 12 starts. Finished 11 - 2 with a 2.56. Beast.

He's still walking a ton of batter. I wonder if it's due to control issues or is he nibbling and just refusing to give in? Either way, if that number doesn't get better you're looking at high pitch counts and early exits.

I understand the concerns, but to not take him off waivers if given the chance is silly. The potential return is too great. Unless all your starters are top 30 guys, you'd be foolish not to gamble on him, imo...
