Very similar players, but I'll take Bourjos. Playing time could be an issue if he falters but he's so good defensively I think he'll be fine. And Melky... just not feeling it. He's mostly an empty average, if that.

Bourjus though he is a little injured right now and might lose playing time if he doesn't start well so it is a little scary.

yeah it's a bit of a player A & player B exercise.
I notice the latest MDP has Cabrera (166), Bourjos (171) and Jackson (189). Playing time is a minor concern with the Angels logjam.
Bourjos is 24, Jackson is 25-Bourjos would seem to have more upside, though Jackson was the higher rated prospect.

ZiPS has Bourjos at 13 HR, 30 SB and a .261 AVG, Jackson at 8 HR, 24 SB and .259, both around 85 runs.
I can see Bourjos going a round and a half before Jackson. Jackson being drafted after Cespedes seems like lunacy however.

I'll take whichever one of them figures out how to take a walk first.

If you look at skills over stats, Peter Bourjos is a little ahead of Jackson. At least, according to the stuff I have read he is.

Can't say that I'm really excited about either. Certainly not targets for me, even in the later rounds...if they just happen to fall and I don't see anyone else that I really like or I happen to be low on SB then I might take a flyer but that's about the extent of my desire....I'd go with Bourjos over Jackson.

Although I like Bourjos potential ,anyone who goes into season with tag "will probably have to have operation after season" isnt getting drafted by me. Anyways I think Bourjos will be battingat bottom of order while even with Jacksons miniscule OBP he will be batting at top of order. I doubt he runs much with both Cabrera and Fielder behind him.
