12 Team 5x5 H2H Stanton over........

Seriously thinking of taking Stanton in the 2nd round over Hanley, Pedroia, Reyes, Tex, and Granderson. Is this crazy. My thinking is, power is so scare this year and Stanton is one of 2 players I think will hit 40+ hrs (bautista is the other).

Definitely not crazy thinking. In fact....I like it. Take a chance. Stanton's power is unreal and I would like to have him more than the others you mentioned.

no way would i consider taking him over any of those guys. he really shouldn't be going until the late 3rd round. taking him that early is only a product of undervaluing batting average.

I think that you could have an argument for taking him instead of Granderson or Tex, but not the other guys. Assuming that you didn't already draft Cano, Pedroia is money with this pick.

Hey listen, some of those Stanton would be an elite option over them but theres still a few that I wouldn't take. Not Granderson or Reyes but I'd take Stanton over Tex/Peds etc.

I take Pedroia.
I could see Stanton over Tex or Grandy who i think regresses some.

Pedroia is the one I would also consider.

Hanley is not happy and he is a slacker
Reyes is always injured
Kinsler is usually injured and BA is worse than stanton
Tex is like stanton but on the way down
Grandy will def regress
