Lincecum or Gallardo in NL Only League?(WHIR)

Postby kidsilk » Wed Feb 29, 2012 8:26 pm

NL only, 6x6, holds and ops, 13 team, roto style, keeper league, auction, 260 dollar cap. Prices of players stays the same each year.

I have Timmy at 33 bucks and would definitely be a keeper and I have been offered Gallardo at 20 bucks in a trade. Who would you rather have at this point and at these salaries?

I would like to see the whole team, how much $ you have, and the top available players in the draft before I can comment.

I have to agree with this sentiment. Without additional info, it's hard to say. However, even with the price difference, I like Timmy.

You can keep up to 10 but don't have to keep anyone.

I'm thinking keep Bourn, CarGo, Hudson, Latos, Lincecum and Leubke. $121 leaving you to fill 23 spots. I don't think you have to make the deal considering the talent pool that will get sent back, and I definitely prefer Lincecum straight up. If you can counter offer for a productive hitter that can save you $8-$10 that might be worth it.

EDIT- lol. Terrible deal for them. I would make the same suggestion though. Shop Timmy around and see if you can get a good offer.
