Trade offer to get Gonzo in keeper league

Recieved a trade offer in my keeper league: Give CC Sabathia and Desmond Jennings and get Adrian Gonzalez.

On the surface it seems like a no brainer, but here's my current set of keepers:

1B Miggy
3B Longoria
OF CarGo
OF Bruce

SP Sabathia
SP Kershaw
SP Verlander
SP Cliff Lee

So basically I'd be putting Gonzo at 1B and moving Miggy to 3B and looking to deal Longoria. But I probably won't get a pitcher back better than CC knowing our league and who would be wanting him. Would you take Gonzo over Longoria and end up with a lesser 4th SP? We start 4 OF and so I'd be left with keeping 1 instead of 2. Thanks

so you're not keeping jennings if you don't deal him? seems like a no-brainer to me. your staff can definitely handle losing sabathia.

Yep, still a no brainer. The staff won't miss CC and Jennings is less marketable than Longoria, who you will definitely find takers for.

I'd do the deal, but I would make every effort to retain Longoria. Could you not move Bruce and keep Longoria in a UT spot instead?

I don't quite understand that last part. Do you have to keep 4 hitters and 4 pitchers? If you do, I don't think I'd make the trade. how could you not like having 4 #1 starting pitchers on a team?

I'm also not a fan of making a trade that results in having to make another trade. The owners in your league aren't stupid they'll see that you need to trade Longoria and they won't give you market value for him.

If there's any chance that you'd have the opportunity to draft Jennings I wouldn't deal him so that someone else can keep him.

I like Longoria almost as much as Adrian Gonzalez and you said yourself you wouldn't get someone on the level of Sabathia for Longoria. So I don't think I make this trade.

All in all I don't see a good reason to make this trade.
