Upton and Montero's Keeper Value?

Thinking of keeping Upton for this coming season. Obviously talent wise, Upton seems like a keeper, but is the price right?

$280 budget, paid 35 for Upton last year. Keeping him for this year will adds $10 to his previous price taken out of this years draft budget. Upton worth $45 for this season in a 12 team league?

Same goes for Montero, who I picked up for a $1 before his call up, putting him at 11 for this season.

$45 sounds like a bit much for Upton. I think you could probably get him back at a cheaper price. I'd keep Montero for $11 assuming he has C eligibility or it seems sure that he'll get it quickly.

thats way high for upton even for a $280 budget. Montero I believe will come out of spring training the starting C for seattle and believe that $11 is a great value for him.

Yes. Too much for Upton with a $260 cap. He should be available somewhere in the $35-40 range in your auction.

Agreed. Upton way to high. I think in the worst case scenario you can get him back in the draft for that price but more than likely much cheaper.

I think Montero is too high at $11. It might be worth the gamble but he is a C and a rookie so you could probably do better with that money. Personally I would let him go and see if I can get him cheaper or go a different route. Maybe his move to Seattle has dropped the price.
