my league drafts on saturday (don't ask why) and i need to know where nomar and prior should be drafted in light of their injuries.
What do you think?

Keep them where i had them and get a cheap backup in the later rounds?

Don't touch them they'll be injured on and off all year?

Take them if they slip to round ___?
Please advise.

I drafted last weekend, knowing Prior was injured, expecting him to miss about 5 starts (1 month) and I still think I got him as a steal in the 2nd round with the 14th pick.
just my thoughts though.

I would let Nomar slide and let someone else deal with him. To me SS isnt so shallow anymore. Guys are going later than him and will put up great numbers for your team, that even if healthy wouldnt put you out to much from Nomar. Prior if you could get him 2nd or 3rd round I'd take it. If he can return to 100% he's golden. Dont forget about Schmidt either. He may slide to with his injuries. And if you could get both of them later than expected, when they do return they'd make a nice 1,2 punch.

Maybe this has something to do with Nomah being on the Bosox and Prior being on the Cubbies.

Personally, I would not draft Prior at this point. There is a good chance that he may miss more than 5 starts IMO. He is a HUGE ? right now and it would seriously hurt your team burning a 1-3 round pick on him if he only made 20 starts or so this season because of a problem that has not gone away since last season
