I took this team over last season, and did very well in pitching but my hitting was awful, so In 3 trades this winter, I lost Beachy, Luebke, Jose Altuve and Minor leaguers Gary brown and Julio Teheran.

my offense is definitely better, not sure if it came at the expense of the pitching

I know this is a lot to take in, but I wanted to be thorough LOL

I know the pre season rankings have Greinke pretty high but I don't know about him being worth that level of keeper. As such you are seriously relying on Paul Goldschmidt to handle your 1B and Edwin Encarnacion to handle 3B.............yikes!

Infield needs a lot of work.
Outfield is solid. Key player - Austin Jackson, can he put it together?

1st off thanks for responding.

Reguarding Greinke and Kinsler, they're more like 1a and 1b, we get to exempt one keeper, meaning he's kept but we don't forfiet the round, the rule is designed to allow players to keep there 1st rounder and still be able to pick in rd 1 (I realize I screwed up and wrote a 2 next to Kinsler) . I don't think Greinke is more valuable then Kinsler, if this were a redraft I would look to draft Greinke in the 4th or 5th rd. but this is Greinke's 3rd year being kept so inflation took him from the 3rd rd to the 1st.

to your 2nd point this is my 2nd yr in this league and this team is a work in progress, with that said, not everyone can have a top 6 1st baseman.
I do think Goldschmidt will do OK at 1st base, I anticipate a 255 average with 25 bombs and 85 rbi's and toss in about a dozen sb's and 80 runs scored, also he's a keeper in the 30th rd and I've got him for the next 4 seasons if I want.

I take it you're not a Edwin Encarncion fan LOL. he's not horrible it was either him or Chipper
I waited forever to take a 3rd baseman because I have Nolan Arenado as a minor league keeper who I still think will be up no later than July. and I'm a believer in his bat.
