I am taking over for my leagues commissioner but I cannot find a way to delete his team to add another owner in his spot. I assume since he created the league, therein lies the problem. I already have a team in the league so I simply cannot take over his team. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe he has to email ESPN to get commish changed..or he can do it himself and switch it to you.
