We can keep up to 3 keepers, 12 team H2H league 5x5. We can keep a player for up to 3 years, but have to give up the draft choice of the round we got them in the previous year and if its the 2nd or the 3rd year, we have to give up the draft pick as an average of the previous year and current years ADP (ex. I drafted CarGo 2 years ago in the 11th rd, kept him last year for an 11th, and can keep him for a 6th this yr ((11+2)/2 = 6.5))
Its a given that I'll keep Carlos Gonzalez for a 6th & Joey Batista for a 2nd, but I have a question on the 3rd.
My options for a 3rd are: Michael Morse 21st Pablo Sandoval 9th Dan Haren 6th (would actually be a 5th because of me keeping CarGo) Justin Verlander 3rd
I'm leaning toward Morse because of the value, but I'm concerned about a regression in AVG. Any thoughts?
I would go Morse for sure. Yeah the average might drop a little, but he could hit even more Homers this year. Has great power and should be hitting in a better lineup this season, as I see Zimmerman and Werth hitting better. Maybe even Harper.
Yeah, it's possible that Morse showed us his ceiling last year. I think I'd either keep him (the value is great) or maybe Sandoval in the 9th. Given that Panda has weighty issues of his own I'd lean toward keeping Morse.
Keep panda and morse and toss Joey B back as a 2nd round and try to get him with your 1st round pick. you only have him for one more yr and you will get better value out of the other 2 long term.

I disagree. Completely. Bautista in the second is huge value and he needs to keep him. I'm not even sure the long term argument makes sense, but even if it does, it doesn't make sense any time in the next 2 or 3 years, so it's probably not so important.
