Not even Uggla and Graderson for Upton and Youn? Just curious.

IN the second deal I can keep Asdrubal and Grandy for next year and years beyond. Does that make it enough to do this trade or shoud I ask for Uggla instread of Asdrubal?

You only keep 6 players. This puts a lot less emphasis on keeper value to me. If everyone else is going to overvalue this then take advantage of it. Don't move Upton unless you think that you can do better with your first round pick (See Pujols, Votto, MCab or Tulo). I wouldn't even entertain the thought unless I was blown away. If anything, it sounds like he would be more valuable at the trade deadline. Perhaps owners will loosen their grip once they feel like they can make a legitimate push for the playoffs. If you fall out of it then market the guy and see what you can get. But don't settle on a lesser package because you will lose him in twelve months. If you're always looking ahead you're going to lose sight over the present. Only 6 keepers? Win now.

Agree with the majority in here. Keep Upton, your team's pretty talented for a 15 teamer. You should make a run with him this year

I think your giving up too much in either deal. Enjoy Upton while you got him. Upton and kimbrel is jus too much or id be tempted to do deal one with pablo in it. I guess if you could keep pence and pablo for a good chunk of years itd be worth considering but i think you could net more with upton and kimbrel who are both STUDS. Thanks for your reply to mine. I added some more info to my question if you had time to revisit, thanks.

I wouldn't do it. Upton is too valuable.
