Its a pretty sweet deal for Oakland.
he brings some interest to the team, theres no financial risk for the team, they might end up with a legit impact bat for almost free, and if they do they can trade him at the deadline for parts that will actually help them contend in a few years (assuming the Giants are told to stop cockblocking the move to SJ)

So thought we could revisit this thread for a quick minute. Manny is suposed to be starting his 10-game minor league rehab and then be promoted to the big club. Anyone using a bench slot to see what, if anything, he offers?
