Spring is upon us, and it's time to figure out who I'm keeping. 10 team, H2H categories, 6X6 w/ OPS & Holds. Keep 6 Here's a list who who's eligible & worthy of choosing from.
Cano Hanley M. Holiday Youk Cain Hamels Napoli A-Ram
I don't have to keep all 6, and by the looks of thigs here, I'm probably not going to. I also have Teixeria who's at the end of his contract who I am shopping around. I have an offer for either Verlander or Felix for him straight up, but I want to first see if I can replace him with another quality 1B (Gonzo, Votto, etc)
The question is: How many and who to keep?
Leave your link, and I will return the favor.... Thank You!
Here's to you, Mr. Robinson. Jesus loves you more than you Cano.
for the most part, I agree with the above, but I might take a different track, given your league set-up and try to find another younger OF to keep. So, I'd keep :
Cano Hanley Hamels Napoli (maybe) Cain (maybe)
And try to trade Tex for an OF worth keeping.... to balance out your keepers a little. I'm just not sold on Holiday without Pujols.
2b Cano ss Hanley 3b Youk OF M. Holiday SP Hamels, Verlander/Felix (take the trade) - and keep these 6. Draft best available 1b its so deep you can get ya one.

My gut tells me to decline, but I don't want to spook him off Votto. In this deal, I see Votto and Cano about equals, and Teix is a 2-3 rounder while Phillips is a 4-5-6 rounder. Am I nuts to decline? If not, help me make a decent counter offer. I am strongly preferred to not move Cano sonce I recently gave up a lot for him, and haven't reaped full returns yet on him. Here is his team:

Agreed.
As for the keepers, I'd go:
Cano Hanley Verlander/Felix (I would give Verlander the slight edge due to higher potential for W's) Hamels Holliday (I agree losing Pujols hurts, but I don't think it's a deal killer)
Depending on how many other 3Bs are going to be kept, I might consider Youk. You can either use Hanley at SS and Youk at 3B or draft a SS and put Hanley at 3B with Youk at 1B. Keeping Youk gives you more flexibility in the draft. However, I think I would probably throw him back to the draft and get an extra draft pick by keeping only 5 (same rationale for Napoli w/positional flexibility, but 1B is deep and I wouldn't keep a catcher in a 10-team, 1 catcher league).
I like Cain, but with Hamels and Verlander/Felix, I think 2 SPs is a good mix for 6 keepers. ARam has had horrible road splits away from Wrigley the past few years, so I'm wary of him this year.
I would pass on that deal. Losing Cano hurts you too much. If I were him I'd use one of my two 2b to acquire an OF his OF sucks. He doesn't need to do that deal!
