$30 12 Team Roto Auction Draft on ESPN using Leaguesafe

Looking for owners for a 12 team 5x5 roto scoring mixed league held on ESPN. We are going to use saves+holds as a category replacing saves. Buy in is $30 and all fees will be handled through leaguesafe. The draft is an auction with a $260 budget and with be on April 4th at 9pm et, the night before opening day. League Constitution

Teams and Rosters

There will be 12 teams in the Rotorious Auction League. Each team will consist of 26 players: C,1B,2B,SS,3B,MI,CI,5 OF,UTL,9 P, 4 Bench with 2 DL.

There is a minimum innings pitched requirement of 900 innings for all staffs. Anyone who does not achieve 900 innings, will be placed last in the category of ERA and WHIP. There is a maximum games started limit of 200 games.

League Fees and Payouts

The fee to join the league is $30.00. The deadline for payments is March 31st. Payments and Payouts will be handled by leaguesafe. If you have questions about how leaguesafe works, go to the page and they have a video explaining everything. Payouts will be $230 for first, $100 for second, and $30 for third.

Draft

The draft will be an auction with a $260 budget. The draft date is April 4th at 9pm et.

Standings

Standings are determined by rotisserie scoring using R,HR,RBI,SB,AVG for offense and W,K,ERA,WHIP, and SVHD(Saves plus Holds) for pitching. In case of ties in total points, each team involved in the tie is compared to all other teams involved in the tie in each individual category. One point is given to each team for leading in a category. The team with the most points using this method wins the tiebreaker. If, after this method is used, it is still a tie, the team with the highest batting average wins the tiebreaker.

Trades

All trades will be LM VETO ONLY. This protects the art of the trade and stops teams from trade blocking if the trade is going to effect their position in the standings. Value of players should be decided by the teams performing the trade, not the teams in the league. The only trades that will be vetod are ones that are 100% unbalanced, like Pujols for some 5th starter for example, or when collusion is strongly suspected to be happening.

The trade deadline will be on August 17th and 12PM ET.

Roster Managment

There is a season acquisition limit of 160. This means you will only be able to pick up only 160 players during the season. Once the limit is reached, you will not be able to acquire any more players for the remainder of the season.

All teams will be required to keep a valid roster at all times. Dead teams will receive three warnings over the coarse of two weeks. If warnings are not reconized, the team owner will be kicked out of the league with no refund of team fees. Roster dumping will met with being kicked out of the league with no refund of team fees.

League Governance

The decision of the League Manager supersedes the rules herein and is final in any disputes. He also has the power to change a rule with an unforeseen loophole after the fact for the benefit of the league. The overall good of the league as a whole will be greater then the benefit to any sum of its constituents.

Any rule changes will take place before each draft. Once the draft is completed all rules are locked in until the following year.
