Updated Tulo/Prince trade

9 keepers x 16 teams = 144 keepers.
I've been offered Prince Fielder + Elvis Andrus + his 10th round (146 overall, 2nd pick after keepers) + his 11th (175th overall) + his 12 (178th) + anohter 12th that he traded for (181)

FOR

Tulo and Lawrie plus my last picks 17th, 18th 19th, 20th.

I have a couple of concerns in doing this. Does Lawrie turn into a Ryan Braun? Does Prince lose his swing speed? Is there going to be decent value with the picks I get?

What do you guys thinkg?

I say absolutely not. In a 16 team league, shortstop and third base are great assets to have. Fielder is great and all, but you've got a nice 1B with potential in Davis already. He should keep his picks, you should keep the better package.

I'd keep Tulo and Lawrie.

I don't see there being enough value in the picks to make up the difference in the primary players involved.

There's 120 keepers in my league (12 teams @ 10 each), and the talent pool is already beginning to shrivel up by then, it's certainly not going to get any better 20+ picks later.

I really don't like the offer. You downgrade two young stud keepers just to upgrade a few mid to late round picks. You mentioned in the previous rendition that you didn't have to keep 9. My assumption is keeping fewer gets you into the open draft sooner and there are targets in the #130-150 player range that you covet and are thus considering this deal, is that right? If so why even keep Ike? He is going in the mid 160's per the median draft position data on this site. If you cut him you can draft a better player than him with the earlier pick you saved and if for some reason you have a mancrush on Ike you can re-draft him with your own 10th rounder. My guess is there will be a better option with your 10th rounder too. I don't like how that NYM lineup is looking without Reyes and the real possibility Wright is moved for prospects in July.
