Sanchez or Trout?

I am in a 16 team keeper league and we are going to 5 keepers. Hitters are pointed better than pitchers. No money involved. Keepers are still a work in progress but I am keeping McCann and Stanton.

OF: Stanton -Keeper
OF: Maybin
OF: Holliday
UTL: Encarnacion
UTL: Cabrera

SP: Johnson
SP: Lester
SP: Beachy
SP: Hellickson
RP: Putz


Anabel Sanchez and Mike Trout are available and I'm debating between the two. With the two UTL positions I don't have anyone on my bench but only 4 SP. Who should I take?

McCann, Freeman, Stanton, Holliday, Asdrubal Cabrera. If that's Melky keep Lester.

If Trout or Sanchez are being considered as one of your 5 keepers, I would say forget it. You have a fine list already as some have already pointed out. I like Stanton, Holliday, McCann, and Freeman/Cabrera (if it's Asdrubal). The fifth should be Lester, hands down. You need an arm and I think he bounces back nicely this season. Freeman may be maxed out and A.Cabrera may have had a fluke power season ... go with the arm instead of gambling on both of those guys.

Are you wanting help with keepers or are you drafting. It sounds like you want help with your next draft pick not who to keep but not sure. If you are drafting, I would be ok taking Trout but it he is probably going to be dead weight for most of the season. I like Garcia more than Sanchez though. Personally I would probably take Garcia and hope that Trout comes back around.
