Elvis, Fielder, Tulo, Lawrie

Hey all,
In a 16 team, 9 keeper league, head-to-head each category:
Hitting----R, RBIs, 1Bs, 2Bs, 3Bs, HRS, AVG, Steals
Pitching----ERA, WHIP, W, L, Ks, Saves

My keepers right now are:
Tulo
Longo
J. Upton
Shane Vic
Brett Lawrie
Ike Davis

Kershaw
Dan Hudson
Strasborg

I was offered this trade:
My Tulo, My Lawrie for Prince Fielder and Elvis Andrus and his 10 round pick (which would be the 1 overall pick after the keepers, and no we do not HAVE to keep 9.)

Would you pull the trigger on this trade?

I think the trade suits your teams needs very well. You are gaining solid consistent production from 2 of the most healthy players in the game. You also get the top available pick in the draft. You are giving up some potential - but i think lawrie is overrated and tulo has yet to play a full season while prince and andrus have not had any substantial injuries.

I don't think I make that trade. Tulo's replacement value at a thin position is hard to beat. I think Ike will have a good year, so you're covered there. Lawrie is a 20/20 candidate which is hard to beat at 3B. so you look down 140 players or so and is that player a deal maker? Probably not. I'd pass.

Tulo > Prince
Lawrie > Andrus

That player you would be getting with that 1st pick would need to be excellent. With this many keepers, I don't see it happening. Stay put.

Do you have another batter you can keep instead of Huddy? Hitters are EASILY more valuable....and ptiching can ALWAYS be had.....even in a deep league.
