It is a 5x5 ESPN roto league (snake draft, no salary cap, weekly lineups, acquisition limit of 50 free agents) with ESPN's default settings. However, we use a 6 man bench (plus 1 DL slot) and have a 207 GS cap on SPs. It usually is a keeper league, but since we will have 5 new owners, we will draft from scratch this year. In 2013 you will be able to keep 3 players from your 2012 team.
Re: payment, we will use LeagueSafe. The top four teams will collect 100% of the $728 prize pool. We use a sliding scale for the "losing" 8 teams - the lower you finish, the more you owe. For example, the 5th place team owes $68, the 6th place team owes $75 all the way down to the 12th place owner who owes $110. It averages out to be approximately $91 per losing team and all collected money is distributed at year's end - no cut for the commissioner or LeagueSafe. Before the draft begins, we will all pay $110 to LeagueSafe and when the season ends, 11 of the 12 owners will receive money back (with the amount obviously depending on where you finish). The sliding scale gives people a reason to compete all year.
We will have an online snake draft on Friday March 16 at 9PM EST.
At least 5 of the owners have been playing together for 4 years. The difficulty of the league is moderate - there are a couple of excellent owners, but most of the other owners are casual.

The league itself looks really interesting, but a Friday draft is a big no-no for me? I get 2 nights a week to go out and I'm not going to waste it sitting on the computer. Any chance of moving it to Sunday-Thursday?
One of our owners has a family emergency and needs to drop out. So we're looking for a 12th owner (again). The draft is THIS FRIDAY at 9PM. You would get the 5th and 20th picks in the draft.
