LOOKING TO FILL OUT MY ROSTER!

Postby Joe Mama » Wed Feb 15, 2012 2:26 pm

Hey guys,

I know it's early but there'ssome intriguing FAs in my league and I wanted to get on them now before the start of the year. I'm looking for highest upside, don't care at this point how well he fits in with my team. Here's who I'm looking at:

OF Angel Pagan
OF Mike Trout - Will he get enough playing time?
1B Adam Dunn - Do you think he can rebound this year?
OF Lorenzo Cain

The guys I'm considering dropping for the above are:

Alex Rios
Edwin Jackson

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Highest upside is Trout and I would be fine dropping Rios for him. Odds are Trout goes to the minors but things can change pretty quickly during spring training. The only other guy I like for you, is Dunn but I think I would let him stay on the wire. Just keep an eye on him and if he starts off hot then make the jump. I still Jackson more than Dunn though.

I'd keep Ejax and consider Dunn... but be very cautious.

Trout has highest upside, but I wouldn't expect to see him for the first couple of months.

Rios might be a a bounce back, but he's burned so many so badly... I remain very hesitant.

Trout has the highest upside of the bunch. He may not get significant playing time though. I'd drop Rios for him based on your original post.

If you have pitching depth I'd take Dunn over EJax and easily Trout over Rios.
