Auction Valuations: WHIR

So in a deeper 16 team league with 6 keepers per team and minor leagues, would you say, considering the size and inflation due to keepers on the standard $260 budget:

Is Joey Votto/MadBum worth $20 more than Hunter Pence/Marcum

I would. In that deep of a league, I would value stars more than I would in a shallower league.

For sure, I'd probably spend a full $20 more on Votto than Pence alone, getting Madbum for Marcum as well is awesome.

Generally, one must value stars at a higher value in much deeper leagues, like yours. They are always going to be expensive, but they are bound to go for nearly the same price, but most likely more, if you don't keep them. That's what I look at when I decide on keepers.

Votto is worth 35-40, M.B. is worth 15 -20. Pence is worth about $20-25 and Marcum is worth about 8-12. I think the Vott players are worth mre than 20. Who wants marcum when you can have MB
