I'm in a 12 team dynasty league. H2H, 6x6, walks for hitters and k/bb for pitchers as the extra cats.
I currently have no Middle infielder, free agents are locked until March 1st, but trades are allowed.
I would give Anibal Sanchez
I would get Emilio Bonafacio
FA's that will be available when they're unlocked are: Infante, Scutaro, Beckham, Barney, Izturis, Aviles.
My MLB Team: C. Alex Avila 1B. Miguel Cabrera 2B. Howard Kendrick 3B. Pablo Sandoval SS. Dee Gordon MI. EMPTY CI. Paul Goldschmidt LF. Delmon Young CF. Shane Victorino RF. Michael Stanton OF. Nick Markakis OF. Mitch Moreland Util. James Loney Bench. Ryan Howard Bench. Bryce Harper
SP: Jon Lester Cliff Lee Zack Greinke Anibal Sanchez Ervin Santana Phil Hughes Chad Billingsley

Agreed. And you have good enough pitching to go without Sanchez and be fine. I would try to get a draft pick in addition to Bonafacio if you can. I value Sanchez a little higher. But the move makes sense for your team.
Sanchez was sneaky-good last year. I'm not a big Bonafacio fan. But I do agree that the trade makes sense as your MI draft choices look pretty dismal. Maybe explore some other MI options? See if someone would be willing to part with, I don't know, Kipnis? Play up the new stadium, improved defense, and the fact that he struck out 202(!) hitters last year.
I would do that deal. I think you'd be coming out on top myself. Bonifacio is eligible at multiple positions, hits for some power and gets stolen bases to boot. Plus as stated before you have depth at pitching. I'm looking for a SS myself in my upcoming draft and he's one of the guys I'm aiming for.
I get that a obviously need to make a deal for a MI, but losing value isn't a way to win. Also long term, bonafacio won't have MI eligibility because he's at CF now. I just don't see their value close enough to warrant the need based deal.
He'll probably play some 2b this year keeping his MI eligibility. You have the itching depth, I would pull the trigger on this deal rather quickly. He is a solid 275/100 runs/40 SB threat this year. He won't hit over 300 but at the same time he won't hit 240.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
I'd offer up Hughes and Santana before I offer up Sanchez. Some here have lofty projections for Bonafacio, but I still think you could get more if you do decide to trade Sanchez.
